 Romans 15:13
May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing (trusting in, clinging on to and leaning into) that you may abound in HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, please give Hannah and Larry this HOPE that only you can give, protect and preserve. Please turn this evil for good and will You use Hannah as your mouth piece so others will get saved.  And when You free her, we trust that You will restore all that the enemy has tried to steal.  Forgive us for questioning, we don't understand, but we choose to trust You and to intercede for our sister as she waits for Your hand to free her.  Please strengthen Larry and fortify Him by your Spirit.  Please hold each one of the children's hearts in your hand.  Comfort them and keep them safe.
Please quicken the process for this appeal and give the attorney's wisdom and authority from Heaven as they defend the innocent and seek to uphold your truth. As Christmas approaches and passes, please visit this precious family with Your presence, hold their hearts in Your Hand.  Speak Your Word, Your heart, Your hope into their souls. Oh Lord please comfort Your afflicted. We know there will be a day when this mourning will be turned into dancing and the bitterness of these tears will be turned into the sweetness of your glory revealed. You are God and there is none above You!
Please preserve HOPE!

Please tell Hannah there are many people in Tustin, California who are praying for her daily.
And let her know that we love her!

Judicial Tragedy In Corpus Christi , Texas

“The Cultural Result of Failing To Apply Theonomic Principles”

By John M. Otis

Introduction

One of the distinctives of the RPCUS has been our affirmation that the Westminster Standards do teach a theonomic ethic.  This is why we expect all our elders (teaching and ruling) to affirm their allegiance to what chapters 19 and 23 teach in the original 1647 edition of the Westminster Confession.  The fundamental theonomic principle is that every human culture is mandated by God’s Word to embrace God’s law, not man’s law.  The judicial laws of the Old Testament are still operative as far as the “general equity” of them applies.  This means that the general principle of these laws is still normative for today’s society.  The particular expressions of how to apply these general principles may vary but not the essential meaning of the principle.

This is pastor John Otis of Westminster Presbyterian Church here in Corpus Christi.  I was in attendance at the prayer meeting a week ago among local pastors.  I have talked with pastor Rod Carver and Doug Hoffman about being a liason for local pastors in taking the news of this judicial tragedy to national media outlets.
I have written a 14 page article that explains why her conviction violates biblical principles of jurisprudence.  It is an article designed to rally all Christians behind freeing Hannah from jail.
I would like you to review it and consider putting it somewhere on the website as a defense for Hannah from a local pastor unrelated to Calvary Chapel.
I will most gladly send it to you via email at your request.
I am committed to seeing justice prevail and this mother restored to her family.

Sincerely,

Pastor John Otis
